When the Indiana Statewide Independent Living Council (INSILC) and partners set out to host two important community events back-to-back, they needed visually cohesive, accessible flyers that could stand alone or be presented together.

The first event, the Transportation Symposium, would bring together community members, advocates, and leaders to spark meaningful conversations about improving transportation access. The second, the Disability Town Hall, was a community-driven forum for people with disabilities to share perspectives, ask questions, and influence policy.
Because multiple organizations co-hosted the symposium, the design needed to stay neutral and inclusive, without leaning too heavily into one brand identity. I designed both flyers with a shared style, ensuring that side-by-side, they looked like part of the same conversation.
To keep the tone inviting while honoring the importance of the topics, I blended clean typography, accessible color choices, and approachable visuals for a friendly but professional feel. The designs translated seamlessly to both print and digital formats, making it easy for the client to share them in libraries, email newsletters, and websites.
